Born in La Habana, Cuba, Tina moved to Palm Beach in 1960 where she soon established her real estate firm, Tina Fanjul Associates. About 30 years ago, she was notified by a public school teacher in the Belle Glade area about two small girls who fainted in her class because they had no food. Tina was motivated to establish a Belle Glade project to feed approximately 100 needy families once a month, and supply turkeys at Thanksgiving as well as host a Holiday party with toys and hams. Vegetable gardens have been planted and tended by the children and their families. We take care of our families, and our goal is to reduce the number per month to 50 of those that need it the most.
Community service is something I have felt passionate about since my young days living in Virginia, New York and Hong Kong, and I have worked with multiple charities in the Belle Glade area for 20 plus years. I have been in the design business for 50 years and am currently associated with Kemble Interiors in Palm Beach.
